One stop shop for Vista drivers - Thank God
Yes, I know. We’re going through the growing pains of having a new version of Windows. I tried to warn people about being in the first bunch of adopters. Most wouldn’t listen to me. It’s pretty bad when the neighborhood computer guy is not upgrading his system yet but you want to go ahead and jump right in. You’re treading in dangerous water, my friends.
As it has been in the past, no matter how much time Microsoft invests in loading their shiny new operating system with drivers for every piece of equipment under the sun, they miss some. New devices are being released all the time, from video cards to mice, manufacturers don’t stop making their goods just because the beast from Redmond is going to release a new operating system. No way.
Thankfully, someone has had a vision of helping all of you sick puppies that want to punish yourselves and buy a new operating system before the first service pack (which is scheduled for April, I think…).
RadarSync has compiled a site with links to many of the latest drivers for lots, and I mean LOTS, of companies. Intel, VIA, Dell, Yamaha, Logitech, and more. All in one place, and all free.
Any of you that need updates for your drivers for Vista can just visit here and see if what you need is available.
