I know that this really has nothing to do with technology…or maybe it does. Until a few years ago, unless you were a major media outlet, your voice could be heard by only a few people. Through the power of the world’s largest network of computers, the Internet, any Joe with a keyboard can now deliver the news, opinions, or any other information to anyone in the world. That’s the power of technology. If you don’t think so, just check out who TIME Magazine named as their person of the year.

This list comprises just a few of those folks who are taking technology and using it for their own good. And hopefully, for the good of others.
